Preview Scalar Volume
Preview a rectangular section of a scalar volume, one coloured cell per grid cell (out-of-band cells are transparent).
Inputs
| Name | Nick | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Scalar Volume | S | Scalar Volume | The scalar volume to preview. | |
| Rectangleoptional | R | Rectangle | Section rectangle to sample over. Leave empty to auto-section the volume's bounding box along the plane chosen in the right-click menu. | |
| Resolution | Res | Integer | 50 | Number of cells across the rectangle's width (its height is scaled to keep cells square). |
| Ramp Scale | k | Number | 1 | Ramp spread: a relative multiplier, not an absolute value. The ramp auto-fits the section's value range, so the same setting looks the same at any magnitude. 1 uses most of the gradient; higher hugs the seam, lower spreads wider. Value 0 is the seam between the interior (negative) and exterior (positive) sides. |
| Section | T | Number | 0.5 | Auto-section position (0–1) along the volume's bounding box, on the axis perpendicular to the chosen plane. Used only when no Rectangle is supplied. |
| Contour Interval | Ci | Number | 1 | Spacing between contour isolines, in value units. A line is drawn wherever the volume value crosses a nonzero multiple of this interval; the zero level itself is not drawn. Interior lines (value < 0) draw blue; exterior lines (value > 0) draw grey. Set 0 for no contour lines. |

| Warning | Supply a Rectangle, or a volume with a valid bounding box, to define the section. |
